Anne Crowther of Waterford & Lismore Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes presents students Clodagh Fennell and Heather McCloskey with certs on behalf of Lourdes Youth Committee in recognition of their hard work with the sick on the 2018 Lourdes pilgrimage. Mr Michael McGrath awarded Thomas McDonagh Medal

Congratulations to our outgoing school steward, Mr Michael McGrath who was recently awarded the Thomas McDonagh medal in recognition of his service to The Association of Secondary School Teachers of Ireland (ASTI) and his work on behalf of Secondary School teachers. The award was presented at The Gresham Hotel, Dublin.Many thanks Micharl from all the staff at The Friary for giving us a voice at a national level. Leaving Certificate 2019 Graduation Mass

 

The annual Graduation Mass for our Leaving Cert. students and their families was con-celebrated in St Monica's Chapel on Friday last. The chief celebrant was Fr Matt Cooney OSA assisted by Fr Gerry Horan OSA, Fr Tony Egan OSA, Fr Ben O'Brien OSA and Fr John O'Connor. Príomhoide Ailbhe Ní Neachtain welcomed all to ceremony and wished the class of 2019 every success in their exams and their future careers. The mass was followed by light refreshments in the school canteen, giving parents, students and teachers the opportunity to mingle and chat over a nice cup of tea. 

Soft Launch of School App

 We are delighted to announce the launch of our School APP which all students, parents and guardians can download  directly to your devices from the APP store. An information night regarding the APP  will take place in the Study Hall on May 13th 2019 at 7pm. All parents guardians are welcome. Parents/guardians of incoming 1st Years are very welcome to attend.
