As part of their CSPE action project entitled “The Work of An Garda Siochana” the 3.1 class invited Garda Christine Kenny and Garda Aidan McCarthy to visit the college to give the class an insight into the work of An Garda Siochana. The students enjoyed a very informative workshop. Many thanks to Christine and Aidan to take the time to chat with the class and also Mr Donal Williams (CSPE Teacher)

Parents' Association AGM Revised Date

Internet Resilience

Our Parents' Association AGM takes place in the school canteen on Tuesday, October 17th at 7pm. Guest speaker is Mr Pat KcKenna, founder of "Child Watch Ireland" Child Watch is a technical organisation specialising in the protection of children online. Mr McKenna will give a presentation on "Internet Resilience". All are welcome.

Creative Learning Methods in Science

Adriana Cardinot,( NUI Galway PhD student in Physics Education who is researching Creative Learning Methods in Physics and  Promoting STEM by Creating Fun and Educational Board games), showing students how board games can improve learning in science today. As part of their CSPE action project a group of Junior Cert. students researched the invaluable work of An Garda Síochana and were rewarded with a visit from members of the local Garda force, namely Garda Christine Keniry and Garda Aidan McCarthy
