TY Tech Free Bonding Trip to Connemara

A group of ninety four students set off on a phone free, bonding trip to the Inagh Valley in the heart of Connemara on Sunday evening. Accompanied by teachers Ms M McGann,(TY Co-ordinator) Bn. Annemarie Uí Chuirrín, Mr William Kelly, Mr Conor Walsh, reports from the west leaves us in no doubt that the students are having a fantastic time.Activities include hiking, surfing, swimming in the September sunshine of Connemara.

Third Greenschools' Water Flag for St Augustine's

We are very proud of our Greenschools' Team led by Ms Mary Tobin-Canty and Mr Kieran O'Sullivan on being award our third Greenschools' Water Flag at a function in Kilkenny last week. Junior Cert Essay among the best in Ireland

Congratulations to Stephen Hennebry of Transition Year who has been awarded a certificate by the Department of Education and Skills for the excellence of his Higher Level Irish essay in his Junior Certificate in 2018. This award is presented to only four students in the country each year (including Leaving Cert students) and is given in recognition of innovation in writing style, accuracy of grammar and richness and fluency of language. Congratulations also to his teacher, Áine Bn. Uí Fhoghlú.
