The Friary Senior Ladies Football take on St John the Baptist, College Hospittal, Co Limerick in the Munster "A" Senior Ladies' Schools' final on Saturday, January 14th in Castletownroche, Co.Cork. Wishing the girls and their mentors Ms Angela Walsh and Ms Lisa Hanrick every success on Saturday.

The Friary senior ladies football team have progressed to the Senior ‘A’ Munster final after overcoming Loretto, Fermoy in the semi which was played in wet and windy conditions in Tallow last Tuesday.
U14 Football
We were beaten by Meanscoil San Nicolas in the county u14 div 2 semi final in an exciting game in the Friary grounds on Wed last.
The regional Futsal indoor soccer championships took place at the WIT arena on Tuesday last. The Friary was represented by 1st Year boys and girls. Futsal is indoor five-a-side soccer with an unlimited rotation of subs. The boys played five matches though they played very well they didn't get through, losing by a very narrow margin. The girls won all their matches and qualified for the Munster finals next week at the same venue. Congratulations to you all including mentors Mr Donal Williams and Mr Paul Whyte.
Under 19 Munster Cup
St Augustine’s College recorded a fine win over a gallant and spirited St Paul’s College, Waterford in the FAI schools U-19 soccer competition at the RSC Waterford United grounds.
Congratulations to our colleague Mr Paul Whyte who has been nominated to captain the Waterford Senior Football Team for the 2017 season. A leader both on and off the field.
ST. AUGUSTINES IN FINE WIN OVER MIDLETON C.B.S. St Augustines scored a fine win over a strong and highly fancied Midleton CBS team in the U 19 Senior Schools FAI Munster Soccer Championship at Midleton College grounds last Tuesday.
1st year
We have thirty 1st year boys training at lunchtime each Tuesday and Thursday. We have also participated in two, nine- a- side hurling and football blitzes in Carriganore. Each player gets equal game time during these games and both days were hugely enjoyable for The Friary boys.
All –Ireland champions 14/15 category; William Beresford, Kaylem Beresford, Oisín Hallahan, Jamie Moylan, Seán O’Sullivan, Niall Buckley.
