TY Activities Week Beginning February 19th

 
▪ Preparations are in full swing this week as we prepare for the school musical We Will Rock You.
▪ Students are to meet in the canteen at 9am.
▪ All students must make sure that they have their costumes for rehearsals please.
▪ Students going to Berlin must bring in their passports tomorrow. 
▪ Any student interested in going to Baltinglass ,tomorrow is the last chance to sign up.

TY Activities: Week Beginning February 5th


▪ Referee Module Monday 9-11 for those who signed up. Meet at 9 am at the front door.
▪ Tuesday and Wednesday Business Stock Market Module. See notice board for times.
▪ Tuesday 9.40 there will be a speaker from the Irish Army in the canteen. Only those who have signed up may attend.
▪ TY 3 have Yoga on Thursday.
▪ Rehearsals are on this week please check the notice board for details.
▪ Money for Berlin trip is due no later than Thursday.

TY Musical 2018 "We Will Rock You"

Our Transition Year musical is Saul Swimemr's Musical Extravaganza, Queen, featuring the fabulous music of  rock band Queen. Running from February 28th to March 3rd at 8pm. Emily Murphy (left) and Anna Spratt share the lead role of "Meatloaf" . As usual you can be guaranteed a great evening of music and dance. Tickets will be available from the usual outlets; David Walsh, Office and School Suppliers, Lower Main St,Dungarvan and from Helen at the college office. Book early to avoid disappointment, be sure to bring along a fried or two!!!

We were delighted to welcome former inter-county referee and great friend of The Friary Mr Pat Moore to the college on Monday. Representing Waterford Coaching and Games Development, Pat gave a very informed workshop to enthusiastic Transition Year students. TY Activities 29th January Week Beginning

Week 29th January.
▪ This week will be busy with rehearsals for “We Will Rock You”. Please check the notice board regarding time.
▪ All students are reminded to ensure you have correct costume/s for show. If in doubt check in with costume department at the Header.
▪TY 3 have Yoga on Thursday..
▪ UCD are offering free Science Workshops for the week of the February mid term break. Students who are interested please see details on the notice board.
▪ Any students who missed Career Interest Testing meet at the computer room at 9 am Monday 27th.

• Rehearsals are on the afternoons this week please watch the notice board.
▪ Best of luck to the TY girls heading to UCC to represent the school in a new maths programme.
