TY Activities September 25th

Week of the 25th September.
▪Interview workshop Monday at 9am students need to check the notice board.
▪TY 2 have Yoga Module with Ms.Green on Thursday 28th at 11.15.
▪Sports Club is up and running with Mr.Kelly each lunchtime.
▪ Games Club meets every Wednesday at 1.30.
▪School Smarter Travel first meeting is on Thursday at 1.30 in Ms. Kelleher's room.
▪ Physics essay due on Tuesday.
▪Lancaster Labs based in Dungarvan is offering one week of work experience, please see the notice board for details. 
▪ Vicky is holding the last auditions on Monday at 2pm.
▪ Students need to ensure that they have signed up for Gaisce & have received relevant form.

•Ploughing Trip is Wenesday , bus is leaving at 6.50 am and will return to the school at about 6pm. Do not be late.
• Those who have put their name forward for the Physics Programme need to write a one page essay on any aspects of physics.  Essay is due Thursday the 21st of September. 
• Essay competition.  A chance to win a free trip to Brussels. A 500 word essay titled " What the EU means to me". It is due by  Monday the 25th. For further details contact Ms. Sheehan.
Clubs all up and running and Gaisce forms are on the  notice board.

TY Berlin Trip

This year the TY school trip will be to Berlin Germany; 16th - 19th of March. The cost €530 including all flights , buses, hotel, food and trips. A deposit of €150 is required by the October Mid- term break. The full amount is due by the 10th of January.

Jeff Allen and Agata Hidalgo spent a day with our TY students recently and presented  a very interesting program on nutrition and exercise intended to raise awareness of the importance of both to our physical and mental wellbeing.
