Junior Achievement Programme with Pat Devereux & Laura Keane this week for TY 3,4 & 5.

Poetry Slam Workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday for all TY students.

"Make a Wish" Foundation Fundraiser on Thursday

Preparations are ongoing for Mini Company Easter Fair Day on Monday, April 3rd.

TY Activities- Week Beginning - March 20th

  • Monday UNESCO Workshop with Susie Spratt. 
  • Tuesday  & Wednesday  a very exciting radio workshop for the students.
  • Tuesday TY 3,4 & 5 have their Junior Achievement Module. 
  • Mini Company finals on Tuesday in Waterford best of luck to all the teams involved. Thanks to Mrs Heather Foley &  Ms Ann O'Connor. 
  • The TY self sufficency garden is looking great, thanks to Ms Margo McGann & Áine Uí Fhoghlú for all their work.
  • Leisure Module on Monday with bowling, the gym & swimming. 
  • Reminder Gaisce needs to be concluded by the May Bank holiday.
  • Baltinglass trip - April 24th to 26th.

TY Activities Week Beginning March 6th 2017

Busy week for Transition Year students

  • Jenny McGrath visits on Monday to talk to the students about her Channel swim this summer. 
  • Personal Safety Workshop on Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Thursday - Sky Dome Planetarium Workshop.
  • TY  3, 4 & 5 will  also be taking part in the Junior Achievement Programme on Tuesday.

Students are also busy with the Sports Club, School Smarter Travel Club & Environmental Club. The students are also busy with their Gáisce  programme which must be completed by May. Mini-Company Munster finals take place on March 21st.
