TY Activities 29th January Week Beginning

Week 29th January.
▪ This week will be busy with rehearsals for “We Will Rock You”. Please check the notice board regarding time.
▪ All students are reminded to ensure you have correct costume/s for show. If in doubt check in with costume department at the Header.
▪TY 3 have Yoga on Thursday..
▪ UCD are offering free Science Workshops for the week of the February mid term break. Students who are interested please see details on the notice board.
▪ Any students who missed Career Interest Testing meet at the computer room at 9 am Monday 27th.

TY Activities 22nd January Week Beginning

 ▪All the TY students have their Career Interest Testing this week.
• Rehearsals are on the afternoons this week please watch the notice board.
▪ Best of luck to the TY girls heading to UCC to represent the school in a new maths programme.
▪ All clubs are up and running as normal.

11th December TY Activities

 ▪ TY students have their Christmas Fair on Thursday where  TY Mini Companies will selling their products. 

. ▪ All TY students will have a Carol Service on Thursday

. ▪ Rehearsals are the main focus this week . It is very important that all students check The Header at both the 11am break and lunch time as rehearsal times can change.

TY Activities December 5th Week Beginning

Week 5th December.
▪ TY 1 have Yoga on Thursday.
▪ TY 4 have their last visit to Care Choice on Thursday. 
▪ All TY students have a computer workshop on Thursday see the notice board for details.
▪ Rehearsals will be in full swing this week students must check the notice board for details. 
▪ Christmas Fair’s Day is on Thursday the 14th, all Mini Companies must be prepared.

TY Musical 2018 "We Will Rock You"

Our Transition Year musical is Saul Swimemr's Musical Extravaganza, Queen, featuring the fabulous music of  rock band Queen. Running from February 28th to March 3rd at 8pm. Emily Murphy (left) and Anna Spratt share the lead role of "Meatloaf" . As usual you can be guaranteed a great evening of music and dance. Tickets will be available from the usual outlets; David Walsh, Office and School Suppliers, Lower Main St,Dungarvan and from Helen at the college office. Book early to avoid disappointment, be sure to bring along a fried or two!!!

TY Activities January 14th

▪ All clubs; Sports, Board games, Smarter Travel and Green Schools are back in full swing.
▪ Yoga for TY 2 this Thursday.
▪ Rehearsals are the key focus this week. All students will be going through both acts from start to finish. Please ensure that you know your lines, songs and dance routines. The schedules are posted on the notice Board, please check in the morning and at lunch. 
▪ Last chance for anyone who wants to go on the  Baltinglass school trip. Boys are going Monday the 23rd to Wednesday the 25th. Girls from the 25th to 27th of April. Total cost is 160. 
▪ Those going to Berlin in March meeting will be held in the Studyhall at 1.40 Monday.  You must attend please.

Week beginning November 27th

Week 27th of November.
▪ TY 5 have Yoga this Thursday.
▪ TY 4 will be visiting Care Choice on Thursday. 
▪ Christmas Day & Fairs Day will take place on the 14th of December. All mini companies must be ready by this date.
▪ Rehearsals will be taking precedent until the holidays. It is very important to check the notice board in the morning and at lunch.

TY Activities November-20th - 24th

Week Beginning November 20th
▪ TY reports will be posted this week.
▪ TY 2 have Yoga Module on Thursday.
▪ TY 4 will be visiting Care Choice again this Thursday.
▪ Last chance for those of you wishing to enter Mini Med. Please note that the school only  receives two places in the programme. 
▪ The focus for the next month is on the school musical " We Will Rock You ". Rehearsals will be occurring each day.  Students must check the noticeboard each morning and lunch time for updates.

AIB Build a Bank with Michael Walsh

(AIB)—TY Build a Bank Team Sarah Pericho, Kate O’ Mahoney, Molly Schrubb, Michael Walsh AIB ( guest speaker) Victoria O’ Hara and Catriona Kiely. The team offically launched their school bank today.
